What’s up fight fans!! My name is Robert Swanepoel also known as 9MM in the fight world. I am n professional MMA fighter with 12 professional fights under my belt at the promotion EFC. Recently I have switched my focus on bare knuckle boxing and already have one fight under my belt and another fight happening soon.

I wasn’t always a fighter although I have always done sports, from golf to rugby, I only started competing in MMA at the age of 34.

Let me tell you how I got into fighting and why…In 2017 I was in a horrible car accident that should have killed me but somehow I survived and the road to recovery from there just to walk properly again was a long one. By the end of 2017 I already had two operations on my leg and hours of rehab to get full functionality back. The accident made me realize that my life needed to change…A couple of months later I lost my Dad very unexpectedly while we were on holiday together and that shook me once again just like the accident and I knew if I don’t start doing something healthy for my body and mind I would just fall back into my old bad habits that nearly got me killed and that’s when I started my journey to become a professional fighter and here I am 7 years later with many fights already under my belt. Fighting saved my life!!

I met Shane from indigo in 2023 and I have been using a lot of their supplements over the years and its been great. Recovery is very important for every athlete and indigo’s really helps me with that!!
